Every bride and groom feels as though they are in seventh heaven on their wedding day, but on the most romantic day of the year three pairs of lovebirds will have the chance to pledge their devotion at a landmark dubbed ?the nearest thing to heaven? in New York City, thanks to celebrity event designer Preston Bailey.
Through January 11, 2013 committed couples across the country can submit their love story via the Empire State Building?s Facebook page for a chance to win ?Love is in the Air,? the celebrity event designer?s nationwide contest.
On Valentine?s Day the three winning sets of soul mates which have been selected by Preston Bailey Designs and the Empire State Building will celebrate their love with a customized wedding or vow renewal ceremony at the historic skyscraper, with Preston Bailey creating a customized motif for each couple?s nuptials and featuring the winners on his website under ?Bride Ideas.? Premiere industry vendors, including Weddingstar, Sunpride Flora, Levy Lighting, Sylvia Weinstock Cakes, Nuage Designs, and Gio Draping Events will also contribute to the elegant exchange of vows and receptions to follow.

The winners, which will be chosen based on their distinctive love stories, will be announced on or around January 18, 2013. The couples will be among the privileged few to say ?I do? at the famous structure, which offers pairs the chance to proclaim their devotion only during the Empire State Building Valentine?s Day Wedding Event, which is celebrating its 19th year in 2013.
After the Valentine?s Day festivities, highlights of Preston?s wedding designs, photos of the couples enjoying their customized experience, and their plans for love-filled lives together will be posted on the Contest Facebook Page for all to share in the excitement.
